How far in advance should I book BBQ catering?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend dates in summer (May to September), which fill up fastest. For weddings and large corporate events, 2-3 months' notice is ideal. Smaller parties can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice, subject to availability.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in Orpington and cover within 10 miles free of charge. Anywhere further incurs a non-negotiable £50 charge.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
For On-site Grilling and Grill Service (Grill + Us), we require a minimum of 30 guests. Our other services don't have a minimum guest number.
Can you cater outdoor events, and what happens if it rains?
Yes, most of our events are outdoors. In the event of rain, we bring a gazebo to keep the grill and food covered.
How much BBQ should I order per guest?
As a general guide, we recommend 2 pieces protein per adult. We're happy to help you plan exact quantities when you book.
What's on the menu?
Our menu includes chicken, ribs, suya, jerk options and fish, alongside sides like jollof rice, fried rice and mac and cheese, plus a dedicated kids menu. See our full Menu page for the complete list.
Do you cater for vegetarians, vegans or food allergies?
Yes, just let us know in advance and we'll cater for you. Every dish's allergens are listed, and we ask all clients to flag any allergies before the event.
Is your food halal?
Yes, our food is halal. If your booking also includes non-halal items, we make sure to clean the grill between services.
Do you bring your own equipment?
It depends on the service. For On-site Grilling and Grill Service (Grill + Us), we bring the BBQ setup. For Grill Service, you provide the grill and we do the cooking.
Do you need power or water at the venue?
Yes, we need a power socket nearby as our equipment (including our outdoor fryer) uses up to 3000W. We don't need a water supply on site.
How long does on-site grilling take?
This is based on the hours you book. Any time on site beyond that is charged at 1.5x the agreed hourly rate, payable on the day.
How much deposit do you require?
A deposit is required to secure your booking, normally 25% depending on the size of your event, but it could be more. Deposits are non-refundable, with the remaining balance due 1 week before your event.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are by bank transfer (BACS).
Can I change my order after booking?
Yes, as long as you let us know at least 3 days before your booking.
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel within a week of your event, you'll forfeit your deposit plus 10% of the final booking price.
